The Kentville Multicultural Festival will return to Kentville’s Centre Square on Sunday, August 23, 2026, for a lively day of celebration, connection, and community.
This free, family-friendly annual event showcases the cultural diversity of our region through live performances, music, dance, international cuisine, artisan and retail vendors, and cultural information exhibits. The festival creates a welcoming space where residents and visitors of all ages can gather, learn, and celebrate the many cultures that call our community home.
The festival began as the vision of an immigrant and community member who recognized the need for minority communities to have a space to share and celebrate their heritage. Since its inception, the planning committee has remained rooted in that spirit of inclusion, with immigrant and cultural communities playing an active role in shaping the event each year.
Today, the festival is supported by a coalition of community partners, including representatives from Kings County’s Diversity Committee, YREACH, the Kentville Business Community, Valley REN, and NSCC. Together, we are committed to building a region that is welcoming, inclusive, and proud of its diversity.

Sponsorship Levels
Programming Sponsorship ($1500+):
This generous sponsorship will allow the festival to program the main stage with talented performers in our region and beyond.
- Logo prominently displayed on Multicultural Festival webpage and on social media posts
- Logo prominently displayed on any outdoor signage
- Logo prominently displayed in promotional materials such as newspaper ads, posters, and programs
- Mentions on radio promotions/ads
- Public acknowledgement on the stage throughout the Festival
- Opportunity to introduce one of the performers on the stage
Vendor Sponsorship ($500 – $1499):
This sponsorship will allow the festival to keep vendor fees low, as to not present a barrier to any community groups that would like to attend.

- Logo displayed on any outdoor signage
- Logo on promotional materials such as newspaper ads, posters, and programs
- Public acknowledgement on the stage during the Festival
Volunteer Sponsorship ($250 – $499):
This sponsorship will allow the festival to provide a comfortable space for festival volunteers with refreshments throughout the day, as well as cover the cost of volunteer t-shirts.

Friend of the Festival ($100 to $249):
Any amount helps! This sponsorship will allow the festival to get all the little ‘extras’ that make the day special such as lanterns, flags, and interactive activities.
