Vendor Application – Open for 2026

The Kentville Multicultural Festival will take place Sunday, August 23rd 11am-4pm in Kentville’s Centre Square. The family-friendly event is a day full of food, art, music, dancing, storytelling, retail, and more, drawing nearly 2,000 people to the town. The event is free to attend, and is a celebration of our region’s diversity!

What You Need to Know:

Vendor Fees
The charge for market vendors is $35 and the charge for food vendors is $50. There is no charge for information tables. Please do not send payment until you have been approved!

Vendor Selection
An opportunity to return is offered to past vendors before a public Call for Vendors. We do our best to ensure that there is a wide variety of offerings at the festival, and that our region’s cultural diversity is represented through our vendor selection.

Festival Site
The event takes place in Kentville’s Centre Square. Food vendors that require electricity are placed under the gazebo, where there is access to power. Market vendors and information tables are required to bring their own tent. If you do not have a tent, but you would still like to be a vendor, you will be placed under a tree canopy. Only food vendors have access to power.

Vehicle Access
There will be NO vehicle access in Centre Square. Vendors will unload at the designated spots, where there will be volunteers ready to help (see policy 2.1).

Rain Date
In the event of heavy rain or wind, the festival will be rescheduled for Sunday, September 13th. Please block off both dates in your calendar!

Deadline: The deadline to apply is June 26th, 2026. The sooner you apply, the better your chances!
